Healthy Hue

Health Education Campaign

Healthy Hue was an online campaign I developed to inspire and empower Black women to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Utilizing evidenced-based initiatives rooted in behavior change and social marketing theories, I engaged followers with bite-sized video and graphic learning content. Self-produced and disseminated culturally-competent health messaging through the website, social media pages and events.

  • Served as Social Media Ambassador at Black Girls Run conference. Chronicled the weekend’s parties, conference sessions and completion of 5K race to followers on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook in real-time.

  • Reached over 1000 attendees.

  • Healthy Living Q&A session with ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Vh1/MTV cast member, DJ T. Steele.

  • Raised Instagram account to more than 3000 followers on Instagram within one year.
